    Neil has been recognized nationally as a leader in the financial services industry.  He has 25 years of experience as an advisor, coordinator, and catalyst for high net worth families and their companies.

    Neil has been honored six consecutive years as a member of Worth Magazine’s annual list of America’s Top Wealth Advisors.

    Neil's practice focuses on, but is not limited to, wealth management and the various tools and techniques utilized in that process, including business succession and corporate transaction strategies.

    Neil is a regular speaker in the aforementioned areas, and conducts advanced sessions and webinars on wealth management/business succession planning for the Greater Cleveland Partnership, Kent State University’s OEOC, and The Society of Financial Service Professionals.   • Mark A. Ciulla - CPA

    Mark is a CPA Professional with over 25 years of experience advising individuals and closely-held business owners on overall financial planning, investment, and estate planning issues.

    Mark is currently a member of Worth Magazine’s annual list of America’s Top Wealth Advisors

    Mark’s expertise is concentrated in the areas of wealth management, investment planning, insurance planning, qualified retirement plans, and non-qualified employee benefit plans for closely-held businesses and individuals.  Mark’s practice focuses on, but is not limited to, clients in the entertainment industry.

    Prior to joining Capital Advisors in 1986, Mark worked in the audit and consulting departments at Ernst & Young (formerly Ernst & Whinney), a national accounting firm.

    Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and a Masters of Accounting and Financial Information degree from Cleveland State University.  He is also securities licensed (Series 7, 24, 63 and Series 65).

    Mark’s industry affiliations include The Financial Planning Association (FPA), The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).  Mark is an appointed member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFAI), and is also a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland.

  • Patrick T. Hanratty - CPA/PFS, CFP®

    With over 25 years of experience advising individuals and closely-held business owners on tax, estate planning and overall financial planning issues, Pat is a frequently sought-out expert on financial matters.

    Pat’s most recent accomplishments:

    • Named in 2006 and 2007 as one of the Top 100 Wealth Advisors in America by Worth Magazine.
    • Contributor to the nationally published book, "Tips From the Top: Targeted Advice from America's Top Money Minds" (Edited by Edie Milligan, Alpha Publishing).

    Pat joined Capital Advisors 20 years ago after working as a Tax Supervisor at Barnes, Wendling, CPA’s, a regional public accounting firm and another financial planning organization specializing in providing financial advice to high net worth clientele.

    Pat holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Cleveland State University.  He is a CPA, CFP® Professional, and PFS Professional.

    Pat is a member of The Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).  He is also active in the local chapter of the FPA and serves on the Board as the Director of University Partnerships to work with local universities to promote financial planning as a career.  Pat also serves on two boards for the University of Akron.

    Pat has served as editorial advisor to the Journal of Accountancy magazine for the past eight years.  He has also been quoted in and written articles for many local and national publications, including:
